PCR IS DRESSED FROM OMP
The 2009 represent for our company a challange in every aspect. In fact, the look of our kart is changed on the bodyworks and also on the graphics. In consequence to complete the immagine, the driver’s racing suit follow the same way. The difference with the previous model is minimum, in fact it follow the logic of sobriety used for the graphics of the bodyworks. The collaboration with Sabelt company, is ending at the end of 2008 and has been replaced with OMP. Starting from this year, the partnership with OMP company is effective and concerne the supply of racing suits, shoes, gloves etc… The first contact with the company, have been positive but above all address to the exigence of the market. On next days on the “ DOWNLOAD” section, will be show interesting promotion. |

CONTINUITY INNOVATION
Continuity innovation. This is the logic on which we have found the basis for the launch of the 2009 season.For the new bodyworks graphic layout, we have keep the sobriety coloration that has characterize the big visibility of the 2008 lines, from which the continuity and the addition of silver insert that have more bring out the sports character introducing a little of innovation. Another changement has been made to look at a better performance. Also keeping the same side fairings, we have decided to substitute the spoiler and in consequence also the front fairing. This move has been winning, as the aerodynamics and the look benefited. |

Jezdec týmu PCR v České Republice Vašek Kališ při posledním závodě HC obsadil ve Vysokém Mýtě 20-21.9.2008
třetí místo. Tento výsledek mu ovšem zajistil celkové prvenství ve třídě ICA-J v letošním roce. Druhý jezdec
našeho týmu David Patera tento podnik vyhrál a obsadil celkově druhé místo. Oběma borcům gratulujeme a přejeme
mnoho úspěchů s technikou PCR v příští sezoně.

ALEX FONTANA: OFFICIAL NOTICE PRINTS
For the first time in the history, since the Italian International have assumed the name of International Open Masters, a Swiss driver step on to the podium on the final classific of the Championship of the major category KF2 ( ex ICA).
The exploit is succeeded to the young Swiss pilot Alex Fontana- not yet sixteen and at the first one in KF2 – that Sunday in Busca with a wary race has collected the necessary points to take a degree as Master vice-champion ( the title was already mathematically assigned to the italian Ghidella). Previously only the Romanian Sebastien Buemi, now test-driver of the Red Bull in Formula 1, was succeeded to stepped himself into the limelight on the Open Masters, gained the title on the junior category (KF3) in 2003.
With this resul of international level, the PCR official dirver, already Swiss Champion last year, has also contributed to bring to Piacenza’s firm, with his partner , the Columbian Martin Sala (10 on the championship), the manufacturer title.
The 2008 Open Master, that saw the partecipation of pilots from 23 nations subdivided on international KF2, KF3 and KZ2 categories, is carried in 5 trial. Two the success obtained by Alex Fontanta on the pre-final of Ugento and Val Vibrata, to which the have been added a series of prestige placing as the 3 place in Jesolo final.
The race of Busca has saw Fontana dominate in two qualification manches and placed himself second on the third. In the final the new-champion Matteo Ghidella has immediately ran away, after he has been disqualified at the end of the manifestation for irregular clutch. But the eyes were pointed on the duel, decisive for the assignment of the title of vice-champion, from the Swiss and the Italian Minchillo. Always in front of the Italian from the start, Fontana has ran with big inteliigence tactic without involve himself in useless challanges and bringing at the end at home in absolutely relax a 7 place enough to grant him the silver.
With this result, Alex Fontana is till now the only Swiss pilot that has conquired the right to take part to the next CIK-FIA World Championship that will take place in September in Muro Leccese.

MURO LECCESE: GOOD PERFORMANCE
A Sunday that must be remember. On the circuit of Muro Leccese, Sunday 6 July has took place the final of the Italian Championship class 100 and 125 with gear, with the partecipation of 218 pilots. A week-end that for our colours can’t be have a better end. In fact, Marco Moretti on the 100 National category, Borsi Cosentino on the 100 Club category and Giuseppe Rendina on the 125 Club category, are the three drivers that have run under PCR colours have obtained the titles on the respective categories. Soon after the manches of qualification, the survey was already defined. All the three drivers were on first row for the starting of the pre final. Same situation at the end, with the three pilots at the lead. A worthy conclusion of these trend of performance can’t be end in a different way as confirmation of the results also on the final. We wish to thank you all the drivers and the team manager for the very good and profitable work made, and we wish them to continue to obtain success and satisfaction. Thank. |

SIMO PUHAKKA: STEPPED INTO THE LIMELIGHT IN KZ1
After the conquest of the Italian Open 2008 title, obtained with a race in advance, he proposed himself to well appear also on the second race of the European Championship KZ1 category, that took place on Belgian Mariembourg circuit last 29 June. His eighth place on the first final and the seventh on the second, has confirmed the good performance he has achieve. We hace asked his impression after the end of the race. He has replied like this “ I’m very satisfied with my performance. The winner at the Open, for me, was very important; the comparison with calibre as Thonon, Manetti, Laudato etc., is a very strong emotion, as their cleverness and professionalism is a constant incentive for a driver.This competition has allowed me to further improve my driving and the placement that I have achieved let me good hope for the future.
I thank my team manager Antonio Renda, able to make my kart perfect in every situation.

TWO PODIUM IN KZ2 AT MARIEMBOURG
Joffrey Demanse and Joey Hanssen were undisputed protagonists of the second race of the European Championship of the KZ2 category, that has took place on the Belgian circuit of Mariembourg the 29 June 2008. The first final, while having been won by the French pilot Tony Lavanant, has remarked the good performance of the two PCR pilots Joey Hanssen of AVG racing team, and Joffrey Demanse of Ap Karting - Foti Power racing team. The second place of Hassen and the fourth of Demanse have been the launching pad for rise in the second final on the first and second step of the podium. We have asked to the two pilots, their impression. Joffrey: ”I’m very satisfied with my performance on the Belgian week-end . Even if my opponent Lavanant has suffered the penalty of 10” that has compromise the victory of the second final- this is part of competitions- I’m satisfied with the conduict of my race because, together with my engineers we have made the set up of the kart in way to obtain a constant and very effective use of tyres. The eleven points in the Championship which separed me from Tony Lavanant, are not many but, they can permit me to manage with a discreet quiet the last appointment on Varennes s/Allliers circuit, still trying to attack until the last for the conquest of the first step of the podium and consequently of the title of European Champion. Joey “ Go up twice on the second step of the podium at a European Championship, for me, was a great emotion. Already Saturday, I felt - what will be a very good day- In fact, after the qualification rounds be in the first row of the first final depart has stimulated me to belive in my chances, but especially in the performance and reliability of my kart. As already reported Joffrey, on this track, the biggest problem was to maintain the behaviour of the tyres, as constant as possible. I have to thank for this all my team, that with minor modifications, but with great effectiveness and professionalism, have been able to better interpret the conditions of the track. "

SIMO PUHAKKA: 2008 ITALIAN OPEN CHAMPION IN KZ2
Lovely and undisputed claim of Simo Puhakka. He conquired on the Circuit "Track Val Vibrata", the fourth round of the Italian Open Championship, won with a race in advance, the title of Italian champion in the KZ2 category. The Finnish of the team Renda Motorsport, with an excellent race running he gained the pole and the final. We have interviewed Simo and happy he replied: "I am very satisfied with my performance during the whole championship and thanking to an excellent material for me was very easy dominate with a day in advance. I also like to thank my team manager Antonio Renda that, thanks to his technical input and not only he has contributed to the realization of everything. " We have also asked to the team manager Renda, his impression, and there he has tresponded "With Simo was all easy, thanks to his tenacity and professionalism. This success will be for the team, the launching pad for new and more success. In fact will be the second test of the European on Mariembourg circuit and the World race of Varennes. " Besides to point out, the positive performance by Alex Fontana in KF2 that, thanks to the won of the pre fianl and the fifth place in the final, now is only at four points from the second position. |
